Written Work

Below are some writing samples that I have recently published in my role as the Community Outreach Coordinator at ElderSource.

Newsletters

Here are a couple of newsletters I put together using Constant Contact. They were sent to approximately 2,500 recipients that take care of at least one loved one, such as an older adult or an adult with a disability.

The new year can bring about some stress. This edition of the Caring Together Newsletter goes over some options for self-care. This issue also lets caregivers know that ElderSource and the Caregiver Coalition of Northeast Florida can give them a (proverbial) microphone if they'd like to share their story.

During the holiday season, many individuals deal with grief and social isolation. This newsletter provides general information, along with links to credible articles that discuss these topics in greater detail. Because I am not qualified to speak on the previously mentioned topics, I wrote introductions to why the topics are relevant to the audience and introduced the articles from reliable sources.

E-Blasts

These e-blasts were sent to family caregivers to promote a webinar. I designed the e-blast, coordinated the presenters, put together the master presentation and sent out the invitations to the webinar.

This e-blast was designed to let caregivers know there was a webinar coming up and that more information would be coming their way soon.

As a follow-up to the Prepare to Care webinar, everyone who registered received this e-blast as a summary and "Thank you for attending!" All of the resources mentioned in the webinar are linked, as well as a recording of the webinar for them to watch at their own convenience.
